I'm in love..... with this apron. I was browsing the Internet for cupcake items and came across this apron. I love the vintage feel, and of course the cupcake pattern is to die for.

Cupcake Soap?

My husband and I make homemade soap products. Although we haven't been making any soap in the last few months we have made soap on-and-off for around 8 years. It first began as a hobby and then we also saw business possibilities, but realized quickly that the time we spent wasn't enough to return big enough profits.

Since we have a passion for soap products, it was even more amazing for me to find a cupcake soap product. You heard me right, a cupcake soap product.

Offered by Luxe soap, which is a highly specialized soap company that makes specialty soap, they recently introduced a Margarita Bloom soap product.

Here is there description:

Halloween Cupcakes

This weekend I had a mission to work on Halloween cupcakes. Although this isn't a good plan for a woman on a weightloss plan after having her first baby, I still wanted to make them diet or no diet.

With baby watching my every move, I baked a recipe for butter cupcakes. They are similar to regular yellow cake but have more of a rich, buttery taste. Once the cupcakes were baked, it was decoration time. Recently I noticed in a grocery checkout isle that the latest magazine of All You had a wonderful cover of fantasy Halloween cupcakes. Based on their designs I make my own version.

Crashed Fairies

The weekend is upon us and I'm dreaming up my newest cupcake adventure. I had to post this picture for Friday because I thought it was the cutest cupcake. Who doesn't think a crashed fairy makes for a very cute cupcake? Maybe with Halloween around the corner a crashed witch would be a better idea. I can't take credit for this cupcake, I found this picture from another website and it's part of my cupcake portfolio.

I've been keeping pictures that I randomly come across from the web as part of my cupcake portfolio. This portfolio is meant for me to get ideas for cupcakes that I really like so that it will help me get ideas of my own.

This weekend I may try my hand at Halloween cupcakes. Since Halloween is upon us, it is a fitting time to get into a spoooooooky spirit and stir up some Halloween goodies.

Mission Statement

In an effort to track my dream, I decided to start a new blog. First things first, let me introduce myself. My name is Tanya, I'm 31, just had my first baby girl, and have always wanted to own my own specialty cupcake shop.

I love the idea of making my own creations and have them loved by others. I love to think that someday I could be doing something that I love doing and make enough money to live. Who knows if this dream will become a reality, but until then.. I'm going to dream about it.

This blog has been created to track my journey. To track my progress through my dream.

In this journey I will be posting other pieces of information including recipes, pictures, inspiration, and just general ideas that I have. Join me in my rollercoaster adventure. I hope to have fun along the way, no matter what the outcome may be.
